Memphis Lift—”Education for All”

The bitter truth is that kids are dying due to a lack of education in this country. It’s an issue critically affecting Memphis, Tennessee, where students in criminally underperforming schools too often end up in jail or the morgue. The Memphis Lift is and organization aiming to do something about that, launching a movement determined to advocate for education by making parents aware of choices, and giving them a voice in the education of their children. We filmed with the Memphis Lift for three days as they went about their advocacy and community work in some of Memphis’ poorest neighborhoods.
